Organic fertilizers are naturally available mineral sources that contain moderate amount of essential plant nutrients. Organic fertilizers can be natural (manure and slurry) or processed, such as compost, blood meal and humic acid, natural enzyme-digested proteins, fish meal, and feather meal

When to apply: 
Apply partially rotten manure 3–4 weeks before sowing, and well-rotten manure immediately before sowing.

How much to apply: 
Apply 10–20 tons per hectare, or more for vegetables and fodder grasses.
How to apply: Spread manure and incorporate it into the soil by ploughing immediately after application.
